Since the production of this car was discontinued in the year 2001, hence there are no recent updates on new features in the 2014 Lamborghini Diablo.

HOW MUCH?

The prices of the all new 2001 Lamborghini Diablo ranged between $119,157 to $428,181 depending upon the trim, specification and features you choose.

MODELS AND FEATURES:

The first Lamborghini Diablo model, which was launched in the year 1990 used a 5.7 liter V-12 engine having 48 valves. This generated a massive power of 485hp. To keep it stable and to keep it on the road at such high speed of 320kmph, mid-mounting of the car was done and rear wheel drive was used. It was one of the fastest car during those period until Bugatti EB110 came.

The Diablo VT Model was launched in the year 1993. Instead of using rear wheel drive as in the first model, this model used all wheel drive. All wheel drive provided traction to be distributed during the turns to the front wheel. This enabled the necessary prevention from skidding. Air intake from the front helped in improving brake cooling. This model added several other features like power steering, brake caliper and engine refinement.

The Diablo SE30 and Diablo SE30 Jota were produced for the 30th anniversary of the Lamborghinis. These models were very limited. The performance of engine was enhanced which have a power of 518hp. To reduce the weight of the car, Plexiglas windows and carbon fiber seats were added.

In the year 1995, Diablo SV model was introduced and was show cased at the Geneva auto show. The power developed by its engine were massive with the value of 503hp. The accessories used in this car were cooling ducts and rear spoilers.

In the year 1995 Diablo VT Roadsters was launched. The targa top of this car was made from carbon fiber and some simple changes were made in the vehicle.

The Diablo SV in the year 1999 was given a facelift. The popup headlight of this car was replaced by composite lenses. This car gave a power of 523hp with its V-12 engine. While the Diablo VT and VT Roadsters used a V-12 too, they gave a power of 530hp. The Diablo GT model was an optional and cost a fortune.

UNDER THE HOOD:

The Diablo SE used a 6.0 liter engine under its hood with a V-12 and produced a power of 550hp. This car was capable of going as far as 330kmph. But Diablo SE30 used a 5.7 liter V-12 engine and generated a power of 525hp. This sits under its hood and weighed 175kg. The sportier version of Diablo is SV and uses a 5.7 liter V-12 engine with minor modification under its hood.

FUEL ECONOMY:

The Lamborghini Diablo uses a 6.0 V-12 engine generating a power of 550hp. This car has a maximum speed of 330kmph and an acceleration of 3.9 seconds. It is equipped with a multi point fuel injection system with a DOHC valve train. The fuel economy of this car is 9mpg in the city and 13mpg on highways.

SAFETY FEATURES:

Lamborghini pays a keen attention as far as safety of the passenger is considered. The safety feature in Lamborghini Diablo is really admirable.

The Diablo is equipped with air bags at the front for both driver and passenger. It is also equipped with air bag for side body at the front. At the front it also has air bag for side head. It has antilock disc brake system. This car is also equipped with device for traction control and tire pressure monitoring. WHAT WE LIKE?

1- This car has got a look to die for. If one is looking for a car that is stylish and had appearance which is admirable with vertical doors, then  Diablo is the one.

2- Power is yet another reason why we love this car. The power generated influence the speed of the car and to be honest, it really has got a high speed.

3- Comfortable ride is another reason why we like it.

4- We also love the acceleration of this car where it reaches a speed of 100kmph in just 4 seconds.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE?

1- Gas mileage is an issue. This car really has a poor gas mileage which we don't appreciate.

2- Cost of the car is too much. It is really expensive and everything in the car is fragile and replacing it costs a lot.

3- Gear changing causes a trouble and clutch is fragile. This is one of the drawback.
