Ram trucks 1500- that comes with comfort and capacity!

Ram Trucks was earlier known as Ram Truck Division.  It is a United States based brand of light to mid-weight pickup trucks entrenched in 2010 as a distribution of FCA US LLC, a fully owned ancillary of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. It was earlier known as the Dodge Truck Division.

The market price of 1500 is $31,090 and is available on lease at $449/mo.

1500 gives not only a smooth ride, but also has very comfortable seats and tons of storage capacity, no matter whether it is the work-truck or a leather-lined luxury rig. The standard in 1500 is 305- hp 3.6 liter V- 6. It also has 395- hp 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 as optional model. An efficient and burly 240- hp 3.0 liter turbo- diesel V-6 is also vacant. All of these are analogue to a creamy- shifting 8- speed automatic with each of two rear or 4- wheel drive. The R/T model with its chic look also adds the fun factor a bit with Hemi power and a trim 2- door body style.

The 1500 give an estimated mileage of around 15/22 mpg and has horsepower of about 395 hp. The top speed of the car is 106 mph.

The sale in these cars was on a boom in 1990s and early 2000s as people now were considering buying these as their everyday vehicle which was once considered as the work-horses. Obviously, the most divaricated category was the sport truck. The monstrous SRT 10 still stands to be the top-speed record of the production trucks with the highest speed of 155 mph. it has manual transmission.

2015 Ram 1500 R/t, not only stands up to the wilder predecessors, but also carts a level of clarification which those bruisers were deficient of.

Established on the mid- level Sport trim, the 2015 R/T looks like a decent and competent sport truck and is available only in the rear wheel- drive, standard- cab form with 6 ft., 4 inch box. The lone engine preference is the 395 – hp, 5.7 liter Hemi V-8. It backs up to an 8HP70 8- speed automatic which spins a 3.92:1 rear axle ratio. The truck gives an amazing top speed of 5.4 second dash to 60 mph, with the one fourth mile passing in 14.1 at 99 mph. Both the figures are outstanding for the present production pickups and only 0.5 second behind the potent and robust SRT10. Due to the multiple link and coil spring rear suspension, the truck maintains its cool and remains balanced even at such high speed. The truck has a respectable 54/46% weight distribution from front to rear.

The R/T’s suspension setup is similar to the normal Ram 1500 models despite of its praiseful posture.  In the end, overall ride quality stays carlike even with the short wheelbase and the truck bluffs payload and towing capacities of 5050 and 1380 pounds. Even though, the truck is large and heavy, the observed fuel economy was a sparse 15 mpg which puts it in line with the most of V-8 pickups that are evaluated.
